Consultations Pricing & Virtual Visits

How much do telehealth consultations cost?

We operate on a transparent, cash-pay model with no hidden membership fees, unexpected bills, or insurance delays:

  • Initial Telehealth Consultation ($75): A comprehensive, 1-on-1 virtual evaluation with Alexis N. Silence, NP. Includes a thorough health history review, baseline lab evaluation, weight/metabolic goal setting, and a customized treatment plan.

  • Follow-Up Telehealth Visits ($50): Ongoing progress tracking, lab monitoring, side-effect management, nutrition guidance, and personalized dosage adjustments.

How do virtual visits work?

All appointments are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video calls. You can join your consultation using a smartphone, tablet, or computer from the comfort of your home or office.

Do you accept health insurance?

Silence Medical PLLC is a direct cash-pay practice. By eliminating insurance middle-men, we spend more time directly with you—providing high-touch, 1-on-1 care without arbitrary insurance coverage denials or mandatory step-therapy hurdles.

Individualized Care & Expected Weight Loss

What is your GLP-1 or GIP dosing schedule?

We do not use rigid, cookie-cutter dosing templates. Every patient's biology, metabolic rate, and medication tolerance are unique. Alexis N. Silence, NP customizes your initial starting dose and titration schedule based directly on your baseline blood work, weight management history, and real-time response.

What if I previously couldn't tolerate Wegovy®, Ozempic®, or Zepbound®?

High-volume telehealth platforms often push rapid, mandatory dosage increases that cause severe nausea or digestive distress. Because your care at Silence Medical is 1-on-1, your dosage can be micro-adjusted or held steady until your body adapts, ensuring maximum comfort and steady progress.

What kind of weight loss can I expect?

Weight loss outcomes vary based on starting weight, dosage, and individual metabolic response. Clinical trial averages show:

  • Semaglutide: Averages ~15% total body weight loss.

  • Tirzepatide: Averages 15% to 20%+ total body weight loss.

Optimizing Your Results: Weight loss rates and metabolic improvements increase significantly when paired with:

  • A high-protein, nutrient-dense diet

  • Portion awareness and mindful eating habits

  • Regular resistance exercise and active recovery

Medication Sourcing & Fulfillment

How are medications fulfilled and delivered?

Depending on your preference, clinical history, and financial considerations, Alexis N. Silence, NP can prescribe brand-name medications to your local retail pharmacy or coordinate direct-to-home fulfillment through verified 503A compounding pharmacies.

What compounding pharmacies does Silence Medical partner with?

We partner with two highly vetted, state-licensed 503A compounding facilities to ensure rigorous quality control, supply stability, and fast shipping to your doorstep:

  • Strive Pharmacy (Gilbert, AZ): A premier compounding facility specializing in customized metabolic formulations with independent batch purity testing.

  • Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy (Springville, UT): A nationally recognized, state-licensed 503A pharmacy known for strict quality assurance protocols, high-purity standards, and reliable multi-state delivery.

What active ingredients are used in compounded protocols?

Compounded protocols feature high-purity active therapeutic ingredients identical to those in brand-name therapies, optimized with supportive amino acids and vitamins:

  • Semaglutide or Tirzepatide: The primary active therapeutic agents that regulate appetite, improve insulin sensitivity, and reset metabolic set points.

  • Vitamin B12: Added to support cellular energy production and help reduce gastrointestinal nausea during dose titration.

  • Glycine: An essential amino acid added to support liver health (by fueling glutathione production as the liver processes fat) and to help safeguard lean muscle tissue during caloric deficits.

Diagnostic Labs & Safety Requirements

Do I need blood work before starting treatment?

Yes. Responsible, evidence-based care requires evaluating recent baseline diagnostic blood work before initiating or titrating GLP-1 or GIP therapy. We review key metabolic markers—including kidney function, liver enzymes, blood sugar balance (HbA1c), lipid levels, and thyroid health—to ensure therapy is completely safe for you.

Do I have to get new blood work done through Silence Medical?

No, you do not have to pay for new labs if you already have recent records.

If you have completed comprehensive blood work through your primary care provider (PCP), a local clinic, or another specialist within the last 6 to 12 months, you can simply upload those lab results prior to your virtual visit. Alexis N. Silence, NP will review your existing records during your consultation, saving you time and avoiding duplicate out-of-pocket lab expenses.

How do labs work if I don't have recent blood work?

We keep the process simple, transparent, and flexible depending on your state:

  • Arizona Patients: Electronic lab requisitions can be sent directly to your nearest Sonora Quest Laboratories patient service center.

  • Colorado & Oregon Patients: You can share recent records from your primary doctor, or use a cash-pay, direct-to-consumer lab ordering service (such as QuestDirect or Labcorp OnDemand) to order your own baseline panel out-of-pocket and upload the results directly to your patient portal. This ensures total price transparency with zero surprise facility bills.

Who should NOT take GLP-1 or GIP medications?

Patient safety is our top priority. These medications are contraindicated if you have:

  • A personal or family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC)

  • A personal or family history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)

  • A history of active or severe Pancreatitis

  • An active pregnancy, are currently breastfeeding, or are actively planning a pregnancy
